Golden Trends is an Oklahoma-grown cannabis processor that creates consistent cannabis experiences for patients. We started on our journey to bring new experiences and alternative medicine to our fellow Okies.
I looked at the cannabis industry and saw a lack of reliable medicine that can help people be their best selves.
Russ Harrison founded Golden Trends with one goal in mind; providing life-changing remedies to Oklahomans. The idea came to him after he saw how medical cannabis helped treat his wife’s insomnia, which led her to quit her prescribed sleep medication.
Inspired by the positive change medical cannabis had on his wife’s health, Russ wanted to help Oklahomans gain access to this powerful natural medicine. When he researched the cannabis market, he realized Oklahoma had become became a dumping ground for uncertified hardware and products with toxic ingredients.
That’s when Golden Trends was born. The lack of quality and safe products in Oklahoma inspired Russ to use his experience in food-grade manufacturing to create an award-winning CO2-extraction process that creates safe and consistent cannabis experiences.
Russ went on to build a next-generation processing facility equipped with machinery and processes that produce the same high-quality medicine, every time.
After years of building a team and a process to make clean medicine, Russ and The Golden Trends team was finally recognized.
Golden Trends placed Top 5 for vape products at High Times, giving us the steam to enter Oklahoma’s most coveted cannabis championship – The Cowboy Cup.
In Stillwater in December of 2021, Golden Trends won first, second, and third place for Best CO2 Vape in the state of Oklahoma.
This year, Russ and the Golden Trends team have taken leaps forward in quality. We’ve developed our standardized Golden 10 process, and continue to test new processes to create better medicine. Today, Golden Trends focuses on research and development to create effective and functional medicine that patients need.
